It's all over the internet... A tampon commercial, but not the typical, let's be discrete about what we are actually talking about sort of ad... Nope it's a twelve-year-old girl who gets right on down to the point, and scares the sh** out of me knowing that I only have a few more years before I have to deal with this exact scenario. 

The new video advertisement is for a company called "Hello Flo." While the ad is geared toward all women, it is focused on girls who are about to get their period and who have recently gotten their first period.

The commercial, Camp Gyno, throws normal feminine product commercial language right out the window, with the pre-teen describing the kits as "like Santa for your vagina." "It was the beginning of summer, and no one knew me at camp," the 12-year-old says. "I was a just a big random loser. Then, things changed. I got my period. The red badge of courage!"

The video has nearly 5 million views on YouTube, and while it has taken on taboos and made thousands scream with laughter, some are offended with the edgy humor. As for me, I am just scared that this, weird, ladies-only, act of nature, which I have been able to avoid my whole life is something that in only a few years I am going to have deal with, and this video just proves that more and more...
