The ice castle in Dillon is making a comeback, one icicle at a time. The castles are currently being constructed, thanks to the ice cold weather.

The Dillon ice castle is made by growing and harvesting up to 10,000 icicles a day, according to 9 News. These icicles are cut, placed and sprayed with water making up the castle's 30 ft walls. This process, along with setting up lighting, will take 4,000 hours to complete.

The Dillon ice castle will cover a whole acre with beautiful, ice cold art. The ice castle has slides, tunnels, a fountain and more inside.

Dillon isn't the only place getting graced with these gorgeous castes. These are the other locations where you can find the ice castles:

  • Midway, Utah
  • Excelsior, Minnesota
  • Lincoln, New Hampshire
  • Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
  • Edmonton, Alberta

The Dillon ice castle is set to open in mid-December. I'd love to see this in person and I already know what I'd do first. (Which is sliding down their ice-carved slides, obviously.)
