I made it to my first Grand Junction Downtown Farmers' Market last night. There was a huge crowd! Perhaps the cloud cover keeping the temp down helped, whatever the reason, everyone seemed to be there.

From my vantage point at 5th and Main, everyone passed by. I did notice long lines for the food and beverages but not a  lot of fresh veggie packing patrons. I pondered,"Where they there to shop, or people watch?

Let's face it, the Farmers' Market is the perfect place for such an activity. Everyone is there from all walks of life. When I say "everyone" in mean everyone.

I must say I had an event filled first farmers' market. Like most of everyone else, I left with zero veggies. Why? I was there for the same reason you went, people watching.
