The 12th Annual Southwest Arbor Fest is Coming

Saturday April 20th in Lincoln Park the 12th annual Southwest Arbor Fest will take place. This is a great family event with live music; arts & crafts, a salsa competition and the chili cook off. The gates will open at 11am and we start serving our chili, plus make sure you stop by the barn and pick up your free tree seedling.  For those who are of age there will be a craft beer expo with over 18 different breweries pouring tasty suds. The day will warp up with the Jalapeno eating contest the last person standing wins $100.

I love this event because I get to make a big pot of killer chili and enjoy some great beers, which my chili goes great with. Over the past eight year I placed in the top 3 each year and look forward to doing it again. Grab a few friends and come sample my chili and enjoy the 12th annual Southwest Arbor Fest Saturday April 20th in Lincoln Park.
