This Friday and Saturday the 10th annual MOG Outdoor Fest will take place downtown in Grand Junction. The MOG Outdoor Fest is the largest gear sale and bike swap between Denver and Salt Lake City and is a celebration of the western Colorado outdoor community. The two-day rain or shine event will feature the Mountain Film on tour, live music, the Mog sale and bike and gear swap.

Friday night the event kicks off at the Mesa Theater with the Telluride Mountain Film on tour. The film is a compilation of high-octane short films that will blow your mind. The doors open at 6:30pm with the movie starting at 7pm. Cost is $8 at the door, $5 with a CMU ID and kids 12 and under are free. Ticket sales will benefit the CMU Outdoor program.

Saturday the event kicks off at 8am in the Rockslide parking lot at 400 Colorado Ave. Shoppers can score deals from premium outdoor retailers and can enjoy free doughnuts in the morning. If you want to sell your old gear, rafts, skis, dirt bikes or apparel you can sign up that morning for a $15 flat fee. There is live music with Will Whalen, The Shift and Jack & Jill. You can also enjoy the beer garden by the Rockslide, BBQ, door prizes, kids activities and a lot more. If you’re into the outdoors the MOG Outdoor Fest is the place to be this weekend in downtown Grand Junction.
