A Texas family asks Colorado hikers to keep an eye out for their missing 24-year-old son. It is believed Dayne Herndon might be visiting national parks in this part of the country.

Sandy McSpadden and Hap Herndon, along with his step-parents and friends have sat together since February 12 praying for good news. That was the last day anyone heard from Dayne.

The touching video at the top is a plea from his family asking for your help to locate Dayne. While the family believes he is of no harm to anyone, they believe he might be suicidal. The family issued the following update yesterday (February 22) via YouTube.

The outpouring of love, encouragement, prayers and support to spread the word has been absolutely incredible…we cannot thank each of you enough. We don’t have any notable updates to share but as the search for Dayne continues, we remain hopeful! If you feel inclined, please send him a note in the event he checks any of his email or social accounts.

Dayne is described as a 6 foot 4 inches tall with a slender build and shoulder-length brown hair. He was driving a 2008 black Dodge Caliber with a green bumper sticker saying ‘Yes Farms, Yes Food.’

According to 9news.com, if you cross paths with Dayne Herndon, you're asked to call your local police department.
