Living in Colorado we have some strange looking words. What happens when we ask a few Texans to try their luck at pronouncing some of these words? You might laugh as hard as us.

We challenged our sister station in Abilene, Texas to read a list of places in Colorado. The Spanish and Native American influences on some of our words really threw our Lone Star state brethren for a loop.

Of course we know Olathe is "O-layth-a" and Ouray is "UR-ay," but our Texan friends just murder these words.

Don't worry friends from Texas, we're going to try our hand at your "everything-is-bigger" words and we may or may not succeed.
