ESPN's Skip Bayless has always been known as a bit of a blowhard. He is in the sports news constantly, but almost always for being a lightning rod that nobody agrees with.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighters are known for beating the living hell out of each other with their fists. But it's a rare treat when they beat the living hell out of each other with their words.

During ESPN's college football coverage on Saturday, anchor Rece Davis threw it to legendary coach and colleague Lou Holtz for his take on something. What that something is doesn't matter. What does matter is Coach Holtz's completely incoherent response during ESPN's "College Football Final."

Free Beer is again calling football games for Compass Media Networks this season. This past weekend, he was at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind., calling the Michigan State-Indiana game. Eighth-ranked Michigan State won 56-17 in a total second-half blowout.

A guy who was working the graveyard shift at a Baltimore area 7-Eleven called into a late-night sports talk radio show to apparently rap about the Baltimore Orioles. Midway through his sweet jam, the clerk named Will abruptly stopped and hung up the phone. Why? Because he was being robbed!
