Jon Lester of the Chicago Cubs pitched against the San Diego Padres Sunday, and snagged a hard ground ball in the second inning. Problem was, he couldn't throw it to first because the ball was stuck in the webbing of his glove. So he improvised! Lester threw his entire glove to first to try and get the out, and it worked!

Comcast Sports Net Bay Area decided to go live to the locker room, where outfielder Hunter Pence was giving a celebratory speech. While may have been a great speech for his teammates, it most definitely was not okay for live television.

The baseball world mourns the passing of Hall of Famer and great hitter Tony Gwynn at the young age of 54. Gwynn played 20 season with the San Diego Padres and passed Monday June 16th due to complications with cancer.
