Love or hate the New York Yankees, you can't deny the impact Derek Jeter has had on Major League Baseball during his 20-year career. After this season ends, he'll be retiring, and he's got a lot of people in support of him, from athletes to coaches, police officers to firefighters and actors to music artists.

It was 20 years ago today that I saw the most impressive no-hitter I have ever seen. Jim Abbott of the New York Yankees pitched the gem against the Cleveland Indians on September 4th 1993 it was the 234th no-hitter in major league history.
