As the International Space station orbits the earth, the American astronaut currently aboard has been snapping pictures of the earth like a tourist including one that shows Denver and other cities on the Front Range.
While we go about our daily lives in the Grand Valley, the International Space Station (ISS) is continually orbiting the earth, and you can actually see it pass over Grand Junction.
Late in February NASA astronauts went on a spacewalk and took a GoPro along for the ride. The astronauts are working to get the space station ready for its first commercial spacecraft visit.
