A Louisiana homeless shelter was forced to destroy $8,000 of meat by the states Health Department because the meat came from a hunter organization. The Health Department received complaints, from the homeless being served that the shelter was using deer meat. A health inspector found this to be the case and made the shelter dump the meat in a dumpster and pour bleach on it.
