A stick-up man with a need for a caffeine fix threatened to rob a Grand Junction Starbucks and then ordered multiple beverages before leaving.

According to Crime Stoppers of Mesa County, the robbery threat occurred just after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9 at Starbucks inside the Safeway store on Horizon Drive.

The suspect approached a Starbucks employee and stated, "I'm going to hand you this piece of paper and I want all the money in your drawer."

The suspect then lifted his shirt like he had a weapon, but the clerk reported they didn't actually see a weapon. On the piece of paper was a list of drinks the suspect wanted.

The Starbucks employee made the drinks, then received payment for them from the suspect who laughed about the incident.

The suspect in this case is a black male in his early to mid-40s, with a thin beard and medium build. At the time of the robbery threat, he was wearing glasses and a t-shirt with a yellow 'Regal' insignia.
