Stand Down For Veterans In Grand Junction Friday

Western Slope Now is reporting that the Veterans Stand Down event in Grand Junction will be this Friday. Stand Downs are part of the Department of Veterans Affairs' efforts to provide services to homeless and at-risk veterans. 

Here are the details of Friday's event as reported by Western Slope Now:

It's happening from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the First Congregational Church, 1425 North 5th Street.

The event will be open to veterans and their immediate family members from 9:00 am to noon.

It will open to community homeless and at risk individuals from noon to 2:00 pm.
