While many ski areas are getting ready to call it a season, there are still some in Colorado that will be open for a few more weeks thanks to the addition of March snow.

Ski.com polled Colorado ski resorts to see which ones were going to keep going well into April.

Powderhorn, the area closest to Grand Junction, will have it's final day of the season on Sunday (April 3). Buttermilk, Crested Butte, Sunlight and Telluride are also calling it a season at the end of the day Sunday.

Beaver Creek, Keystone, Snowmass and Steamboat plan on staying open through April 10. Purgatory, near Durango, plans on opening the slopes weekends through April 17.

Vail says April 17 is their last day. Breckenridge and Winter Park plan on hosting skiers and snowboarders through April 24. Mary Jane is shooting for May 7 as the last day. Only true ski addicts are going to want to ski that close to summer.

Aspen Highlands unofficial closing is April 10. That's because the mountain plans on opening again the weekends of April 22-24 and April 30 through May 1. Check conditions before making the trip after April 10. Just down the road, Snowmass is also shutting down on April 10.

Copper Mountain will be open daily through April 17, then reopen the following weekend April 22-24 for those who want a few encore ski days.

The final day at Wolf Creek will be April 3, but the area also says it may open weekends for the rest of the month, weather and conditions permitting.

Loveland reports Loveland Valley will close April 3. Loveland Basin will remain open through April 8.

Plan on spring condition from now through the end of the season. Also, even if the skiing and snowboarding isn't great, you can still enjoy the warm sun and other activities some of the resorts have planned.
