On Monday, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet launched a statewide “Coloradans Don’t Shut Down” tour.

According to a news release on his website, Bennet will travel the state and join Coloradoans in a variety of everyday jobs to highlight the stark contrast between Colorado and Washington, DC.

As part of the tour, Bennet will be at Brown Cycles (549 Main Street in Grand Junction) from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon this Thursday, October 24.

Following his visit at Brown Cycles, Bennet is scheduled to work at Edgewater Brewery in Grand Junction and Tuxedo Farms in Olathe.

Earlier this week, Bennet bussed tables at a restaurant in Manitou Springs, joined the Pueblo Police Department for a ride-along, worked with Colorado meatpackers in Fowler and at a John Deere Dealership in Alamosa. Bennet is scheduled to substitute teach today at South High School in Denver.
