Sad News Today in Raider Nation Todd Christensen Dead at 57

Today sad news hit the Oakland Raiders as Todd Christensen died at the age of 57. Christensen was under going liver surgery this morning and didn’t make it. He was a five time pro-bowler and two-times Super Bowl Champion with the Raiders.

I remember watching Todd Christensen play I always liked him and though he was a good player. In my mind he was the prototype for today’s tight end in the NFL. He was a running back in college and that athleticism gave him good ball skills. He had good hands and would make a block down field to help make a play. It doesn’t matter if you liked the Raiders or hated them Todd Christensen was a good play and a good person.
