In 2015, Rush went out for a 40th-anniversary tour; the last tour of its kind and the end of their life on the road. Narrated by actor Paul Rudd, he too calls the KC area home, Rush "Time Stand Still" is a documentary event which covers the R40 tour and the unique relationship the band has with its devoted fans.  This amazing movie is coming to Junction for one night only!

The R40 tour was a trip backward in time. The first song on the setlist was from their most recent album "Clockwork Angels." The closing track was from their debut "Working Man." Not only did the music go back in time, so did the set. "Stagehands" keep removing and swapping equipment to give the illusion of what the show looked like at the time of the music.

This documentary is the story of this final tour. Plus, exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the band and crew throughout the tour provide the insight into the emotional undertones of their shows. At the core of the event are Rush’s devoted fans. Their undying devotion and their quirky sense of ownership are on full display throughout the R40 tour.

I caught the R40 tour 3 times. To say I'm a fan is a bit of an understatement. Like most fans, I'm disappointed to know that it's over. I won't miss this chance to experience the "Holy Trinity" on the big screen. You shouldn't either.  RUSH rocks!
