Mesa County Search and Rescue has been deployed for two hikers on the Colorado National Monument.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Department, the two hikers left the visitor center earlier today, but got off the trail and became lost. The Sheriff's office says the hikers are in good health and have no emergency needs. Apparently they called authorities as soon as the realized they were off the trail.
