Your boss got you down? Are you feeling stressed at work? Try The Art Center for your break today and take it in for free.

Things can get crazy around the office. Somedays it's a whirlwind of emails, meetings, deadlines, and spilled coffee. If

that's your Tuesday, slip over to the peace and quiet of The Western Colorado Center For The Arts, better known as

The Art Center, 1803 N 7th Grand Junction.

It's free admission every Tuesday. You can stroll right in and take in the art, peace, and solitude. The distraction is guaranteed to

improve your mood. Even if you're a rocker at heart, a few minutes of quiet reflection is a game changer and helps one find your center.

Besides, some of the art has attitude and it doesn't matter your background, gender, or faith. Art, like music, brings us all together and reminds us of the finer things in life.

Don't forget, this Friday is the next First Friday at The Art Center. The event is 6:30 to 9pm. There will be a cash bar and free admission.

So, if your day's a little crazy, the boss is yelling, and your eyes are crossed from staring at that computer screen, time to log off and head to The Art Center. You just may find me gazing at a piece of art, (I'm the guy with a puzzled look trying to figure out what that statue is). All I know, art rocks and I'm feeling better already.
