Red Rocks Amphitheatre has a namesake beer

The mindblowing venue that is The Red Rocks Amphitheatre now has is own "official" beer. Fort Collins, Colorado's New Belgium Brewing Company is rolling out a brew exclusively for the venue called "Stage Rock Colorado Ale." The can rocks too with a hand flashing the rock-n-roll horns! The beer is named for "front of house" rock formation at the venue. It's those three rock walls that give the place it's amazing outdoor sound quality.

The brew will be available at Red Rocks on draft or in a 19.2-ounce "horns" can. A portion of sales benefits "Preserve the Rocks." The foundation funds the City of Denver and it's education, restoration, and preservation efforts of the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

The partnership with the venue and New Belgium is a multi-year deal making the beer the "official craft brewer" of the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.“This is such a perfect fit,” says New Belgium spokesperson Jesse Claeys. “When you think of Colorado and live music, Red Rocks instantly comes to mind and when you think of craft beer in Colorado, New Belgium is right there at the top of the list.

The brewery is offering promotions of free concert tickets, on-site tastings of special brands, and an increased number of their craft beers for sale at the venue.
