Experimental music collective Puscifer are set to release the new EP 'Donkey Punch the Night' on Feb 19, but luckily for fans of the band, the entire EP is currently streaming for your listening pleasure via Spin.com (click below to listen).

Led by Tool / A Perfect Circle singer Maynard James Keenan, Puscifer have been busy as of late. When counting albums, EPs and remix discs, 'Donkey Punch the Night' is the eighth consecutive Puscifer release from Keenan without anything new from either Tool and A Perfect Circle. Although some fans curse the name of Maynard James Keenan for the long wait on his other bands, it's not hard to hear why Keenan has put so much work into Puscifer since the act's first release, '"V" is for Vagina,' in 2007.

'Donkey Punch the Night' consists of four songs, with three receiving a doppelgänger version, bringing the grand total to seven tracks. The EP kicks off with a brilliant rendition of Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' with Keenan's soft vocal embrace paying due tribute to the late Freddie Mercury. 'Donkey Punch the Night' also showcases a cover of the Accept hair metal standard 'Balls to the Wall.'

As for original pieces, Puscifer have come up with two new tracks, 'Breathe' and 'Dear Brother.' Both songs boast heavy electronic elements, which Puscifer have been playing around with since day one. Although Maynard Keenan has taken a place within Puscifer as the only official member, guitarist Mat Mitchell, electronic musician Josh Eustis and vocalist / guitarist Carina Round all garner writing credits on the new EP.
