This is Luna Lee and she is playing a Gayageum, a traditional Korean zither-like string instrument. It is related to other Asian instruments, including the Chinese guzheng, the Japanese koto, the Mongolian yatga, and the Vietnamese dan tranh. She rocks Jimi Hendrix’s Voodoo Chile, I think Jimi would be proud to see his music beginning played like this.
