Colorado is home to the worst drivers in the nation, and here's proof.

Bad roads or bad transplants? It's probably a combination of a lot of things that got Colorado here. Drivers in Colorado like to brake hard, and speed up, frequently -- and suddenly. This is "an indicator of bad behavior," said the Vice President of Nationwide. The data is from Nationwide's Insurance Smart telematics program.

The device installed in the car tracks things such as fast acceleration, night time driving and hard braking. No worries, Arizona, Pennsylvania, D.C. and New York are bad too. According to a survey, Colorado is in the top ten for courteous drivers in the nation. There's  bad drivers here in Colorado, but at least they're nice.
