Pro-Gamer Passes Away During Tournament, Gaming Community Pours Out Donations
Pro-Gamer Terrence Moore, a.k.a. PushaTee, recently passed away on Oct. 16, 2014 in the middle of the Super Arcade tournament.
The fighting game community has started donations to support Moore's family. In the video above, Moore's friend, MrGrimmmz, gives a heartfelt tribute to his fighting game compatriot while also announcing the sad news to the community.
He urged fellow gamers to give to Moore's family if they were able, as well as to send their love and support. According to GameSpot, MrGrimmmz has launched a donation page on YouCaring.com. As of this writing, the page has 11 days of donation period left and has hit $9,104 in funding, which is well above the $2,900 goal that was set. The money will go towards paying for funeral costs and helping Moore's family with expenses.
We at Arcade Sushi wish Moore's family the best and offer our condolences to them and the community of which he was a major part.
