Phoney Professional at Your Door May Be Casing Home for Burglary

A woman believed to be posing as a real estate agent or other professional may be using that as a front to case your house and steal your stuff.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office is investigating reports of a woman who claims to be a real estate agent and/or restoration expert in order to gain access to resident's homes with the possible intent to steal from them.

The woman (pictured) was photographed in a homeowner's backyard shortly before items were stolen from the residence.

Information submitted to Crime Stoppers is completely anonymous and if that information leads to an arrest can earn the person providing that information a cash reward.
