No Charges will be Filed in Pit Bull Attack

Tuesday night a Mesa County infant was attacked by the family’s Pit Bull in the 500 block of Ronlin Street. The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department said today that no charges would be filed in the case. Officials have determined that the circumstances in the case were not criminal. The infant’s injuries are unknown at this time and the dog is in the custody of the Mesa County Animal Services.
