The party is at Kimwood Park tomorrow evening. It's National Night Out where law enforcement and residents get together for some fun in an effort to create safer neighborhoods.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office along with other first responders are inviting everyone out for an evening of fun, ice cream, bounces houses, a bike-give-away, and much more! The event gets started 4:30 pm and continues for a couple hours. It's free!

National Night Out started in August of 1984 in a western suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The idea was to get everyone, neighbors, community leaders, volunteers, and law enforcement all working together to help prevent crime. The first "Night Out" involved 2.5 million neighbors across 400 communities in 23 states. Today, more than 38 million people in 16,000 communities nationwide take part.

So make plans to come out to !3240 White Ave in Clifton. Besides all the fun already mentioned, Sheriff's Officers will be helping people register their bikes too!
