Police have been unable to locate, identify, and arrest the suspect in a recent burglary at a local auto dealership making this ongoing investigation the Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week.

According to Crime Stoppers of Mesa County, the theft occurred sometime between 11 p.m. on May 21 and 12:30 a.m. May 22 at Modern Classic Motors, 975 Independent Avenue.

The suspect stole several items from the business including a black 2007 Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle.

Security cameras captured images of the burglar who is a white male wearing a face mask, camouflage jacket, and camouflage baseball cap. Total damage and loss from the business due to the robbery is over $20,000.

If you have any information about this crime or can identify the suspect in the photo, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 241-7867. Information reported via phone or on the Crime Stoppers website is completely anonymous and can earn the tipster a reward of up to $1,000.

Modern Classic Motors is also offering a separate reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect.
