Morning Glory Bridge is a breathtaking Moab-area hike that sends you through a lush canyon, leading you to the 243-foot rock view. It's the 6th largest natural rock span in the United States.

It's a beautiful 2.5-mile hike to Morning Glory Bridge from the trailhead. It's a mostly level hike with a few rocky areas that require some scrambling. A small stream flows through the canyon, creating an oasis feel. It's easy to forget you're in the desert when you're on this hike. The trail zigzags across the stream a few times, so wearing water appropriate shoes is recommended but not necessary. The canyon and lush greenery surrounding the area create a mostly shaded hike as well.

Our photo gallery is a small taste of everything you will see with this two and a half mile hike (five miles round trip). The hike doesn't have to end at Morning Glory Bridge, though. The Canyon continues for miles and you can hike until you feel like turning around.

The Trailhead is located on the Utah Scenic Byway on Highway 128, three miles east of its junction with U.S. 191.
