Montrose Bans Sales & Growing Marijuna

Amendment 64 may have passed allowing adults 21 and older to posses small amounts of recreational marijuana but Montrose City Council members have enacted a permanent ban on the retail sale and growth of marijuana.

According to the article I read, Montrose residents would still be able to use marijuana, but there will be no where to legally buy it from and if you were caught violating the municipal code, you could face a $1,000 fine or up to one year in jail.
