A 64-year-old Colorado woman was found this morning in Canon City by search crews. The woman was thankfully found after being missing since the previous morning.

This 64-year-old woman went missing on Saturday morning (Nov. 11) in Canon City. She went out for a walk but never returned. Her family became concerned and called the police. The search for her began Saturday around noon, according to KJCT.

The Fremont County Sheriff's Office searched for her on foot, with dogs and used an aircraft with infrared cameras. The search team thankfully found her the following morning (this morning).

Sergeant Megan Richards of the Fremont County Sheriff's Office stated that the woman was "sore, hungry and cold, but said she was able to walk out with search crews," according to KJCT.

It must have been a rough night alone for her and I'm so glad she's safe and sound. I'm sure her family is too.
