After months of investigation by multiple western Colorado agencies, 30 individuals were identified as suspects of a drug trafficking organization.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department, in 2015, investigators started receiving information regarding illegal drug trafficking in Mesa County. The individuals identified are believed to be involved in trafficking methamphetamine, prescription narcotics, marijuana, marijuana concentrate, and heroin.

Many of these illegal activities were believed to be done in front of children and around area schools.

Several guns were also seized during the investigation.

Some of the suspects have been arrested on their warrants and are being held in the Mesa County Detention Facility.
