Shocking News: Man Sets Up Wire Trap to Protect Marijuana Garden + Loses Head

Its no secret that marijuana grower’s go to extreme measures to protect their crops. Daniel Rickett is no different; he set up a piano wire trap to ward off thieves. The problem was the trap worked a little too well.

Hikers found Ricketts’ body in upstate New York on Sunday. According to the Albany County Sheriff’s office Rickett drove his four-wheeler to his garden location but didn’t deactivate the trap and that is when it went all wrong.

Rickett drove into the trap and nearly took his head off with the piano wire. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police found his garden and a leg snare used on small animals. This guy must of have had some killer stuff to go to such measures.

I can’t say for sure but something tells me that Daniel Rickett was probably drunk when he drove up to his garden. Why else would he forget about a trap he set to protect his marijuana?
