Whether or not FOX truly intends for M. Night Shyamalan's forthcoming "event" series 'Wayward Pines' to last more than a season, there can be no doubting that the drama to date has amassed an impressive cast. The latest high-profile star to make the foray into TV for Shyamalan will be Juliette Lewis, but who might the 'Cape Fear' star play?

According to The Wrap, Lewis has joined the production in the role of Beverly, a local bartender who, like leading character Ethan (Matt Dillon), is also suspicious of "Wayward Pines." Beverly is described as "warm and approachable," though she tends not to mince words with her customers.

Starring Dillon, 'Iron Man' star Terrence Howard, ‘Captain America‘ player Toby Jones, Carla Gugino and Oscar-winner Melissa Leo, and based on the novel of the same name by Blake Crouch and written by Chad Hodge, ‘Wayward Pines’ follows Secret Service agent Ethan Burke as he travels to Wayward Pines, Idaho on a mission to find two missing federal agents. The series is said to be in the vein of ‘Twin Peaks.’

The series will most likely debut on FOX in 2014, similar to FOX’s recent orders of ‘The Following‘ and ‘24: Live Another Day.’ After Juliette Lewis, who do you think M. Night Shyamalan should cast next for his first major foray into television?
