First ‘Luke Cage’ Teaser: Marvel’s Hero for Hire is Sick of Bullet Holes
Most Marvel fans have barely had the time to start their Daredevil Season 2 binge, and already our first look at Luke Cage has arrived! The third Defender has released a first official teaser for the September 30 premiere, already shrugging off bullets.
Marvel released a first official Luke Cage teaser over Netflix, presumably a reward for Daredevil fans finishing the second season. In it (link here, you'll need a login, though), Mike Colter's hero laments his clothes getting constantly torn by bad guys, before a slick new logo rolls. Say, that isn't Matt's gym, is it?
Thus far of Netflix’s Luke Cage, we know that Sons of Anarchy vet Theo Rossi will play “Shades” Alvarez, alongside Mahershala Ali’s Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes, Alfre Woodard’s Mariah Dillard, Frank Whaley’s Detective Rafael Scarfe and Simone Missick’s Misty Knight. Marvel menace “Diamondback” has been rumored to appear, while Rosario Dawson is confirmed to her reprise her role as Claire Temple for a more significant arc.
