It's a night of murder and mystery in Grand Junction and a number of local celebrities are involved.

The scene of the crime is the Doubletree Hotel on Horizon Drive and it happens at 6PM  on Friday the 13th. How ironic - and appropriate.

A lot of local celebrities are involved in this murder mystery, but it may be difficult to figure out which ones are good guys and which ones are bad guys. We may have some rogue superheroes.

Participants include Diane Schwenke with the Chamber, Commissioner Rose Pugliese, DA Dan Rubinstein, Sheriff Matt Lewis, Chief of Police John Camper, CMU President Tim Foster, Hilltop CEO Mike Stahl, Daily Sentinel Publisher Jay Seaton, GJEP CEO Kristi Pollard, Fox 4 Anchor Chelsea Helms, and Annie Payne from KKCOs Moms Every Day.

Everyone will be in full costume and at the end of the night, we'll know who the murderer is.

"Assassination at the Superhero Assembly" is the first ever Superhero Murder Mystery Dinner and it will benefit CASA of Mesa County. Tickets are $55 and available on the A Child's Voice website. Deadline for tickets is at close of business on Wednesday.

It sounds like a fun night for a super-great cause.
