Kudos to Lacuna Coil for truly mastering the video format! The band deliver what amounts to a short film to accompany their song "You Love Me 'Cause I Hate You" that arrives in full cinematic glory.

Look closely as you'll spot members of the band throughout the piece, though co-vocalist Cristina Scabbia takes on the biggest role as one of the two investigators looking into the disappearance and murder of a young woman. The Cosimo Alena-directed video plays out like a film, complete with a dramatic storyline filled with suspense ... all within a seven-minute time frame that includes pretty awesome opening and closing film credits.

Scabbia's partner in the film is actor Andrew Harwood, while you'll also spot Andrea Ferro, Marco "Maki" Coti Zelati, Ryan Blake Folden and Diego Cavallotti taking on significant roles in the story.

"You Love Me 'Cause I Hate You" can be found on Lacuna Coil's 2016 album, Delirium. The disc is available now. Lacuna Coil are currently on tour in Europe in support of the album, but will head stateside at the end of summer. See all of their dates here.
