National Anthem auditions for the 2017 Junior College World Series will be happening in April.

Each year, musical artists from the western slope look forward to sharing their talent by singing the national anthem at JUCO. With thousands of fans attending each world series game, organizers want to have the best singers possible performing during pre-game ceremonies.

Auditions this year will be held Tuesday, April 4 and Tuesday, April 11 beginning at Canyon View Vineyard Church Chapel at 736 24 1/2 Road. All ages are welcome to participate as soloists or groups.

In addition to representatives from JUCO, Colorado Mesa University and the Grand Junction Rockies will be on hand as well in search of national anthem singers.

There is no need to sign up in advance. Questions can be directed to Errol Snider at 970-260-1110.

If you want to know what a good performance of the national anthem sounds like, listen to Little Big Town's performance at the 2017 College Football National Championship. This is good stuff!
