It’s Local Jam Weekend!

Local Jam is Grand Junction's premier local band event!

When Jack + Jill dropped by the 95 Rock studios Thursday afternoon I got the backstory of how this cool event came about. What started as a way for bands to hang, jam and just chill has turned into the concert event of the year!

According to the Local Jam website, "Local Jam was the brainchild of Aaron Seibert (Jack + Jill) and William Monroe (Suite Vibes) back in 2014. Members of the local community and music scene for many years, Aaron and Bill wanted to give the valley something amazing, something musical, and something on a grander scale...After many moons of planning, paperwork, and perseverance, the first Local Jam was formed in 2015."

This year will be Local Jam's biggest ever! With 36 bands, on 2 stages, over 3 days. The party started this evening and continues through Sunday at Edgewater Brewery. Grand Valley LIVE are the masterminds behind this event which benefits Hope of The Grand Valley.
