How NOT to do a Flaming Shot in Russia

The flaming shot trick is cool at the bar when it goes right, when it goes wrong, it turns into a funny video. Sunday night at a Russian bar, you knew it had to be in Russia, 28-year-old Alexey Ponamarev let the bartender pour a flaming shot into his mouth. The bartender claims to have done this trick dozens of time with no injuries. Well, this time didn’t go as planed and Ponamarev had to be rushed to the hospital for burns to his face.

Ponamarev is now suing the bartender for setting his face on fire and has turned the video over to police as evidence. The bartender claims it was all Ponamarev’s fault, as he asked to use a different liquor the he usually uses and he turned his head, which caused the liquor to get on his face.

I say it’s both of their faults, the bartender for trying to show off and Ponamarev for letting someone pour a flaming shot into his face. On second thought it Ponamarev’s fault for letting someone pour a flaming shot into his face.
