HomewardBound of the Grand Valley is a non-profit organization that strengthens Mesa County by providing critical housing, compassionate services and safe shelter for individuals and families.

Salvation Army Day Center provides emergency shelters, and transitional living centers provide housing, food, and overnight lodging for varying amounts of time to those in need. In addition, they provide educational, counseling and vocational services to homeless, destitute individuals and families, and youth where family care is undesirable or unavailable.

Grand Valley Catholic Outreach Day Center offers the amenities of home with a warm shower, laundry, telephone, mail, and storage to area homeless, ages 18 and older. Job search support is also provided.

 

 

The Rescue Mission Family Shelter is a resource for the homeless providing shelter, emergency housing, and transitional housing assistance.

Thanksgiving in a couple weeks away. Christmas is right around the corner. For those us with a steady paycheck and a roof over our heads, give thanks.
