Rockslide Closes Highway 65 Near the Grand Mesa
Emergency crews are responding to a rockslide on Highway 65 near Highway 330.
Channel 11 News is reporting that officials with the Colorado Department of Transportation has closed Highway 65 near Highway 330 due to a rockslide is blocking traffic.
According to CDOT, the rockslide is large enough that it will require blasting to get off the highway.
We have a crew on the way but haven't heard any information about any vehicles being involved in the slide.
Crews are asking that the interstate shut down at exit 49 to allow emergency vehicles to get to the area.
