There will be a supermoon eclipse unlike anything you've probably seen in your lifetime happening Sunday night. We live in an area with amazing sky views, but there are a few standouts you may want to consider for the supermoon.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison is having a special viewing event for the supermoon. Here's a snippet from their website:

 2. Grand Mesa

Sunday night, temps around Grand Mesa will probably dip into the 40's, but with all of the many camping areas, this might be one of the best places in our area to view the eclipse. You can get away from the city lights and have plenty of skies to view this event from.

3. Colorado Mesa University

Colorado Mesa University is having a Lunar Eclipse Viewing party Sunday night from 6p until 9p. One sweet aspect of their event is the fact that they will have telescopes available for what should be amazing views of the moon. Leave it to the really smart people to remember the telescopes.
