Head’s Up Renn Fest Freaks

I can't say I'm all freaky about it, but I do enjoy a quality Renaissance Festival. Grand Junction's turn to go back in time is coming up this weekend at Las Colonias Park.

Just outside of Kansas City are several permanent structures that host one of the largest Renaissance Festivals in the country. The KC Renn Fest is celebrating it's 40th anniversary this season. It's big. It averages about 150 booths, has 13 stages, entertaining 180,000 patrons weekends September through mid-October. I've been dozens of times and always enjoyed myself.

I take it the event here isn't on quite that scale, however, can be as equally as fun. Renaissance Festivals are true "family fun." Bring your crew out for an afternoon of games, crafts, entertainment, and excitement May 12th-May 14th. Grand Junction's Las Colonias Park will host the event. Don't miss the adventure!
