GWAR are slowly becoming the masters of purposely covering songs that they hate. A year after the band were challenged to perform Kansas' 'Carry on Wayward Son,' GWAR once again travelled into music's past with a metal rendition of Billy Ocean's 'Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car.'

If you checked out a live GWAR show within the past year, you may have heard the band of alien warmongers perform 'Carry on Wayward Son,' which they first shredded through for the A.V. Club. One year later, GWAR returned to the A.V. Club to tackle yet another despicable song, ultimately choosing the Billy Ocean hit.

GWAR front-thing Oderus Urungus even spoke to the A.V. Club about why 'Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car' is his least favorite song of all time, although GWAR have been performing the track on their current tour. "The other dudes in the band want to do it," Oderus begins. "I can’t go one against four with those dudes! They’d kick my ass! I can’t take on four scumdogs! Jesus! But I f---ing hate that song. The video has some of the worst animation of anything that has existed. Not just of all animation, but of anything. That stupid fucking fish that swims around in the video… The animation sucks really bad, and not in a Paula Abdul, weird wolf-creature animation way. It’s a reminder of how incredibly stupid you people are capable of being. There was a time when this was a big hit; they played it, they loved it, they loved Billy Ocean, and they loved the way people dressed and they loved the bad animation and it was horrible. So basically what I’m saying is everything that you loved was horrible. And that’s a lot for somebody to have to take."

After being confronted with the fact that the track was a No. 1 song, Oderus responded with rage. "That’s terrible. How could that be? Unfortunately, that’s the truth. And, of course, that’s the reason it causes me so much pain is because you’re all my children. I have f---ed the ape to create you and you’re a bunch of f---ups and I’m very disappointed in you. Your entire race has been a letdown. And for that, you must die. You must be wiped clean from this world and I will f--- something else. That’s why I want to f--- a blue whale, because I’m pretty sure if I f--- a blue whale, which I’ve never been able to, I’ll be able to get it right. Then I can create something that I can totally build an army with."
