We've got even more 'Guardians of the Galaxy' casting news! Following recent announcements of Michael Rooker and Zoe Saldana joining the cast, it looks like the film has found its villain: Lee Pace.

The Wrap reports that Lee Pace ('Pushing Daisies,' 'The Hobbit' series) is in final negotiations to star as the villain in Marvel's upcoming 'Guardians of the Galaxy' film. Though it's unclear exactly who he'll be playing in the film, we have a feeling it's The Controller as stated in previous reports. (Click here for more info on that particular character.)

The film is being directed by James Gunn ('Slither,' 'Super') and casting has been underway -- Chris Pratt is playing the lead character of Star Lord, a guy who leads an intergalactic team of heroes including Zoe Saldana as a green-skinned alien assassin, Michael Rooker, and WWE star Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer. Olivia Lovibond joined the cast the other day in a vague role, as well -- she'll be playing an aide to a character known as The Collector, a guy who collects artifacts and species to save them from foretold destruction and who could very well be the main antagonist.

Pace is in good company with the rest of the cast, and we've loved his work in films like 'Lincoln,' 'Ceremony' and 'The Fall.' And we certainly can't wait to learn more about this new villainous role!
