Guaranteed Sex

"Guaranteed" may be a bit of a stretch but I'm confident that if you take the wife or girlfriend to see the special 30th Aniversary screening of Dirty Dancing, she will "love" you for it.

Let me start off by saying I'm feeling officially old now that it's been 30 years since the movie first arrived in theaters. It's a "chick flick" for sure but guys sometimes it's the right thing to do. Bite the bullet and take her to dinner and the movie.

Fathom Events, the same guys that brought you the Rush documentary "Time Stand Still", and The Regal Canyon View 14 are bringing this classic back for a special two-day event, Sunday, January 29th and Wednesday, February 1st at 2 & 7 p.m. The event also includes an all-new tribute to the film with celebrity interviews.

You recall the plot right? It's the summer of 1963, innocent 17-year-old Baby (Jennifer Grey) vacations with her parents at a Catskills resort. One evening she is drawn to the staff quarters by stirring music. There she meets Johnny (Patrick Swayze), the hotel dance instructor, who is as experienced as Baby is naive. She soon becomes Johnny's pupil in dance and love. A collective "sigh" from the ladies.
