Grand Junction’s Taste of Grand Valley Winners Announced

Winners have been announced from the 14th annual Home Loan Taste of the Grand Valley, held Monday evening at Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction.

Local restaurants, caterers, and food providers were busy all evening providing samples of their products to hundreds of people. The evening included demonstrations and some live entertainment.

Patrons were asked to vote for their favorites in several different categories. Here's the list of winners from the 2016 Home Loan Taste of the Grand Valley.

BEST OVERALL TASTE: Cowboy & the Rose

BEST THEME: Flavors Grille of Family Health West

BEST ENTRÉE: Cowboy & the Rose

BEST BEVERAGE: Four Winds Coffee & Tea

BEST SOUP, APPETIZER OR SNACK: Zoup!

BEST DESSERT: Gelu Italian Ice

First place winners have been awarded cash prizes, along with plaques. Second place will winners also receive cash prizes and certificates to hang in their establishments.

All proceeds from the event go to United Way of Mesa County, which helps fund many non-profit organizations and agencies in the county.
