It's rock with a symphonic twist. Over on the CMU campus, there's a cool, fun way to experience some of your favorite rock classics.

I can't confess to know exactly what I'm talking about. I've not seen this show. From all accounts, it looks to be something very cool. I've seen several rock shows where a symphony, whether it was just a few instruments, or an entire orchestra, where part of the show. Rush on their "Clockwork Angels" tour had several "non-rock" instruments in part of the show. Kansas recently toured with the University of Kansas orchestra as part of their 40th anniversary "Leftoverture" tour. The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd have done the same. This CMU "Rockestra" show is similar but unique in its own way.
